My webcamera is showing distorted colours and lines with guvcview. This problem clears up then the lines reappear.

I have a Korora linux operating system.
I am unaware of the name of the camera that I am using.
I downloaded guvcview to view my webcamera.
The colours of the image is wrong.
The colours are green and pink.
They are several lines on the image.
After approximately an hour the colours are correct and the lines are no longer present.
However, the problem of wrong colours and lines reoccurs.
Can you help me to solve this problem?
