FIFine T668 USB Microphone Under Debain 10.3
by bruceam from LinuxQuestions.org on (#546MT)
I purchased a FIFine T669 USB Microphone when COVID-19 forced me to work from home two and a half months ago. It works extremely well on the Windows 10 laptop provided by the company. Well, now I am going back into the office, and I must use the aforementioned laptop at the office, no longer at home. I would now like to use this device on my personal Debian 10.3 computer. When I plug it into a USB port, Nothing Happens! The OS does not recognize that anything has been plugged in. I know the USB subsystem works, as I have other devices connected in that manner.
A) How do I get Debian 10.3 to search for / recognize the USB Microphone
B) How Do I setup the microphone for use with the installed Debian 10.3 apps (Audacity, Skype, Zoom, etc . . )
Thank you in advanced for your input and assistance.
