[SOLVED] MATE issue

I just noticed that I no longer can add an application launcher to the panel by right-clicking in the panel and then hit "Add to panel" > "Application launcher". All applications are greyed out, or rather semi-transparent, and I can't choose one.
Don't know when this happened - if it can be related to the latest msb upgrades (May 22) or if some recent -current upgrade has caused it.
I don't mind rebuilding something, but I haven't got a clue to which msb package I should look at.
EDIT: Found the culprit and the fix:

Edited the relevant file in the source package, rebuilt, and all is well. Seems as if it's time for a fresh release of the source package.
