Cant ping Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (HVM) EC2 Instances

Hi,
I have 3 new EC2 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (HVM) instances and can't ping any of them. They are all in the same availability zone and I can ping other ubuntu servers. I have applied the same security groups to all of them. I believe the firewall is off as well

Loaded: masked (Reason: Unit firewalld.service is masked.)
Active: inactive (dead)
