Body discovered in Lake Ontario near Burlington

Halton Regional Police are investigating after the discovery of a body in Burlington.

The discovery was made Friday morning in Lake Ontario at Burloak Waterfront Park, in the area of Lakeshore and Hampton Heath roads.

There is a heavy police presence in the vicinity of Burloak Waterfront Park after the discovery of a body in the lake," Halton police said in a tweet. Investigation is ongoing."
