Help with correcting error on Gnome Terminal made while attempting to upgrade login pw
by User Namedonaldrshaffer from LinuxQuestions.org on (#54NQB)
I was notified on the terminal that an upgrade was available that allowed me to enter protonvpn commands without entering the password first. The upgrade offered other features that i did not really focus on. Anyway, when I attempted to enter into the terminal the instructions given I entered everything except the part where I should have replaced "username" with "donaldrshaffer@h8-1000z". Now I am unable to access sudo commands because of the error message:
>>> /etc/sudoers: syntax error near line 34 <<<
sudo: parse error in /etc/sudoers near line 34
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin
I've used the search results to fix this issue with no positive results. What do I need to do to restore the sudo command and repair the username/pw issue I've created?
