Hi. I've been using Linux for about 7 months now and I feel excited about using my computers every day again.
I'm here to share the reasons why I finally decided to download Linux ISO and replaced OS drive in my computer to give it a go.
Reasons why I think that Windows10 is so annoying, it almost feel like a psychological warfare. I'd like to know who feels the same...
No.1 thing that made my blood boil: Reversed two finger scrolling on touchpad & removed option to go back. WTF. WTFF. Am I not allowed to scroll the way I scrolled for last 15 years? Bad. I am an INFP personality type with deep morals and visions of universal good. This crap felt like Windows10 is taking something very personal away from me for absolutely no good reason. They are not improving ANYTHING but making me frustrated every time I use touchpad on Windows10 computer.
It's like someone breaks into your house at night and swaps hinges on all your doors to the other side. Achieving nothing but making you always grab for door handle that's no longer there. That's a software violence.
No.2 thing that grins my gears: When logging in, your first key hit is not registered as first character of your password and you fail to log in. What? This seriously passed feature reviews as something that should be forced onto everyone? Fkn why? That's absolutely unreasonable to having to press a key to press sequence of keys. Only on Windows10!
No.3 thing that makes my day bad: Of course the updates and the insanely irritating black screen with idiotic text slowly fading in and out. Is there anyone out there who reads this with excitement? I don't think so. I'm not 4 years old, I can handle "please wait".
It all started to feel like Windows10 wants you to stop using most of your brain and submit, while Linux requires the opposite. I'm little embarrassed every time I see someone using Windows10 and I feel like I hate something about it. Windows10 made me hate and I hate that.
