Recommendations: Tutorials for ex-Windows users

I have been a Windows user since GEM from Digital Research (the predecessor to Windows 1.0). Not that I had anything against Linux, I used it sometimes in various jobs. My main reason for using Windows was that was the lion's share of the market and the biggest market for my skillz. I made a good living off of Microsoft's back. I was/am quite good at navigating it, configuring and customizing it, fixing it... I am a full-on geek.

But things have changed. I'm retired, most people use Windows only for the browser nowadays, and I am VERY displeased with the way Windows has been going the last few years. So I've made the jump to Linux Mint 19.x with the Cinnamon desktop. Glad I did! I'm still stumbling around in Linux though, trying to customize and configure it the way I want and find software similar to what I used to use in Windows. And while I'm very computer literate, I'm also getting old, don't like change, and don't pick up on new stuff as fast.

So I'm looking for Linux tutorials aimed at ex-Windows users with things like "such and such in Linux is like so and so in Windows except for this thing".
