startx chrash with black screen.

Hi there,
I have a rpi4 with 4 gig ram.
uname -a
Linux slackpi.slackpi.local 5.4.40-v8-aarch64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 13 16:01:06 BST 2020 aarch64 BCM2835 GNU/Linux
Used the Sarpi experimetal 64bit installer and the current software. Updated the firmware and the machine boot nice.
If I execute startx i get a black screen and the machine freeze.
I do not have a config.txt in my /boot dir. Do i need it and can i get it?
