Recommend Me Software : To encrypt cloud data in a shared folder?
by questionsBot from LinuxQuestions.org on (#553Z5)
I am trying to find a system to securely encrypt files headed to the cloud. Most solutions I have looked into make a single large file container, so any change to the data will need the entire thing to be uploaded, so I need something that can encrypt individual files on my share.
I tried Cryptomator but I couldn't get the virtual drive to mount in linux. I used to use it on Windows. Basically it was a app that made a virtual drive that was mounted that you placed files into and they were on the fly encrypted and placed in the dropbox folder.
I would prefer a automated system where I just unlock a dir and save stuff into it or something, but any solution would be cool.
Thanks any ideas would be welcome (remember I am a noob!)
