Firefox 77.0.1(64 bit) FLATPAK - Cannot change download folder

When I try to change the download folder you go to Preferences, General, Files and Applications and Browse to a new folder.
I can do all that but when I Browse I cannot see any folders other than Downloads.
On an older version of Firefox 70, to be precise I can see all my folders in my Home folder.
When I add a folder like spacex and testx they don't get created even if you use them to download to.
Files do download to the Downloads folder.
I've tried the suggestions on their help pages, gone to

Followed the instructions, but any changes I make do not make any difference
Is it the Flatpak version at fault, maybe I should delete it and re-install using the tar file?
Any ideas folks?
How do I report this to Mozilla, their Help pages aren't particularly helpful!
