Facebook Adds the Ability to Send Payments to Friends Using Messenger

Facebook has announced that they'll be rolling out the ability to send payments to friends using Messenger in the United States over the next few months. Users need only to add their debit card to their account to send and receive payments, which can be initiated using a new "$" icon in the app. The feature will eventually make it out to Android, desktop, and iOS.
