VANCOUVER-In Vancouver's historic Gastown neighbourhood, where cobblestone streets and some of the city's oldest buildings are protected by its status as a heritage site, business owner Kim Briscoe thought she might encounter some pushback to her idea of turning the drab wooden boards temporarily shuttering her shop into a makeshift, street-facing gallery.
