Testing/Xfce : clipman failure
by Herve5 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55FTK)
Hello,
I'm using a quite recent Debian Testing nonfree / xfce and suddenly the Clipman function just stopped...
I see xfce4-clipman working but there is zero clipboards in the menu. I stopped the process, which restarts immediately : no change.
I checked the contents of ~/.cache/xfce4/clipman/textsrc, where I understand (maybe wrongly) that the clips are stored, but I found the folder empty.
When I create a textsrc file there with a couple of entries, they do appear in the menu and can be chosen for pasting -but still, when I copy something else, it's not added in the file...
I find myself short of ideas, and I knew too little to continue alone :-(
Any advice appreciated!
Herve
P. S. xfce4-climpan version 2:1.6.1-1
