Shoppers embrace Toronto’s mask mandate on Day 1 — chanting protesters notwithstanding

There were a handful of noisy protesters, and a few people muttered under their breath, but the first day of mandatory mask-wearing in Toronto seemed to go pretty smoothly, retailers say.
