How to allocate / and home partition by user itself ?
by gardenair from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55KAP)
hi,
I am interested to install Debian 10 on my laptop as a desktop operating system. Currently, I am using windows 10.
Well when I try to install Debian in disk partitioning, I use "Guided - Use entire disk".Here Debian automatically allocates disk size for /, and /home.
I want to adjust the size of home partition according to my need, not Debian forces me to use the home partition as it decides for me.
Is there any flexibility to fix the size of / and /home partition according to the user's need? If yes which option may I select ?
thanks
