To allow anything to be written on a dir, but also to not erase anything.

Hello, I recently decided to change the permissions or ownership of several files as to diminish the risks of accidentally erase them.

My problem is that I want to continue to save files in this dir and its subdirs while I should never able to erase anything unless when I gave myself root privileges.

I tried to do so by changing the ownership of all the files and subdirs to root and then giving write permissions to root only, while everyone else can only read and execute.

But by doing so, no one can write on it.

So can I cam accomplish my goal?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=nbMjyNph5K0:xITRyU7ez58:F7zBnMy latest?i=nbMjyNph5K0:xITRyU7ez58:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=nbMjyNph5K0:xITRyU7ez58:gIN9vFwnbMjyNph5K0
