Gparted loads endlessly
by generalghest from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55KSY)
Hello.
I have Ubuntu 16.04 LTS installed. Architecture: aarch64.
Installed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 tablet via Linux On Dex.
Using otg, I connected a USB flash drive (in fat32 format).

Through the repository, I downloaded and installed (with the command line) gparted.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/SCUwYYkYs9S5DcZD7
The program opens only through the terminal with the sudo command.
But some kind of error appears.

The main problem is that at startup the program scans for devices for a very long time (Scanning all devices ...) and this continues indefinitely.
