Profanity XMPP client slackbuild fails MD5 checksum?

In attempting to download, build and install the profanity XMPP slackbuild from SBo, it outputs the following message:
Code:profanity:
Found profanity-0.5.1.tar.gz in /var/cache/sbopkg.
Checking MD5SUM:
MD5SUM check for profanity-0.5.1.tar.gz...FAILED!etc, etc...
And upon trying to keep the source and continue, it says it's in gzip format.
What's the recommended course of action here?
