PrintScreen not working in Slackware -current
by burning from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55RV8)
How can I get my print screen key to function properly?
I'm running Slackware -current and pressing it on its own doesn't work. Pressing alt + PrtSc doesn't work. I'm aware of the import -window root nameofimage.jpegmethod but I'd like to know how to take a snapshot that stores the image in the clipboard.
One potential cause I can think of might be that my keyboard map might be wrong. In CLI it's set correctly to the UK keyboard map, yet for some reason when I start an Xsession, within that xsession, it changes to US keyboard, but I'm unsure as to how to change my keyboard map for Xsessions or why the keyboard map would be different from my CLI keyboard map in the first place.
