Kubuntu 20.04 and k3b

Hello,
Are you guys trying out Kubuntu 20.04?
I have a nVidia GTX 980 + Ryzen 1800X. I saw the thread about one guy have horrible sluggishness where minimizing a window takes 20 s.
Also, I wanted to ask, does k3b work Kubuntu 20.04 now?
I know that with Kubuntu 18.04 LTS, I can't write to any discs and I can't erase DVD-RW discs. I have that problem on 2 or 3 PCs.
