Debian 10 - firmware
by Gx_DI from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55S9R)
Hello, Linux Users!
After net-install of Debian 10 i ran dmesg to see what's up with firmware and...
1. tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: [Firmware Bug]: ACPI region does not cover the entire command/response buffer. [mem 0xfed40000-0xfed4087f flags 0x200] vs fed40080 f80
This Error is probably most important for me now. I've tried to install Debian Testing (and Sid) but because uknown TPM error I got stuck with stable branch (backports on). Now, I know what kind of TPM error is, but I can't guess how to solve it. I saw that it's a common problem for ASUS laptops/notebooks, etc, but I didn't find a solution yet.
*Warning! I don't have TPM settings in my BIOS, so I must fix it from OS level.
2. EFI_MEMMAP is not enabled - This one occured when I've installed 5.6.0-rt kernel. Should I ignore it or there is an option to fix this warning?
3.Missing firmware: rtl_bt/rtl8821a_config.bin .Of course realtek package doesn't provide this file, so... Any ideas from where I can download it securely?
Thank you so much for Your efforts.
