Talk about an ideal time for a cash infusion.

Jonathan Moreira recently got exactly that.

Just two days after finding out his wife is expecting their second child, the 31-year-old Miltonian got another much-welcomed surprise - this time in the form of a near six-figure Lotto win.

They thought it was a scam. But it was a $100K Lotto Max win

He anted up and went all in" to win the Poker Lotto All In jackpot, worth $92,628.80. He also won $5,000 on the Instant portion of his play.

In recognition of his soon-to-be father of two status, Moreira bought two All In tickets. A wise move, as it turned out.

I didn't win on the first one. On the second ticket I thought, Wow, how much did I win?'" he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. I waited for the phone call from OLG and it was confirmed that I actually won $97,000," he laughed.

To say he was overjoyed would be an understatement.

I said, Babe, God is definitely watching over us - meet me at the store because we just won the lottery.' She was speechless."

The labour supervisor plans to invest in property. He and his wife are now looking for the perfect family home.

This is a perfect time to win money - it couldn't be better timing for my family," said Moreira.

The winning ticket was purchased at Neighbourhood Convenience on Churchill Meadows Boulevard in Mississauga.
