Can I update the qt in Slackware 14.2 to version 5.15, and the LLVM to version 10?
by cesarsj from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55WYQ)
In fact, I already installed LLVM 10, which filled my / partition, so I had to create another partition to play / usr for that one. I do not know if with this I generated another problem, everything seems to be ok now.
I currently have qt 5.12.8 installed, is there a problem if I install 5.15?
I even tried it, but when it comes to configuring it, it says that it is not possible to install qtdoc because it was not possible to find the clang. I installed llvm 10, clang-extra-sources, qt-creator-llvm (8.0_c47ba33), exported LLVM_INSTALL_DIR = / usr / lib64 / clang / 3.8.0; but none of that did find clang to install qdoc. I wanted to resolve this before upgrading to qt5.15; and also make sure that there will be no problems with Slackware 14.2 after the update.
