NVMe issues

Hello all!

I am trying to install Slackware64 14.2 on a pristine system:
Mainboard: ASRock B450M Pro4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
SSD NVMe: Kingston A2000 1TB
RAM:16GB

This is a bit too modern for my knowledge. It took a while before I found more information:

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...sd-4175614742/
http://slint.fr/forSlackware/NVMe/
http://bear.alienbase.nl/mirrors/sla...4-current-iso/

I have read, and mostly understood, most of it.

I have dd'd the ISO of 14.2, Didiers fake ISO, Current and Slackware live 1.3.5.2 to a USB thumbdrive. They all boot ok and I can chose keyboard layout. But come partition time, all that can be found is the USB itself.

The disk is there in the BIOS.

If I understand correctly, 14.2 should fail because it doesn't understand NVMe.

The fake of Didier's is tweaked to handle NVMe's, and the current ones should have built in support for NVMe.

The live distro boots up fine. But I don't seem to be able to see the hardware from there either.

Any help is appreciated.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=foB19fRbINc:eHkuO8lUd8c:F7zBnMy latest?i=foB19fRbINc:eHkuO8lUd8c:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=foB19fRbINc:eHkuO8lUd8c:gIN9vFwfoB19fRbINc
