[SOLVED] Directory that copies contents to a new user's home directory

I heard something about this long ago and I just can't find it again. Supposedly there's a directory you can put files if you want those files to be copied to a new user's home directory. This would be useful for, say, giving a new user easy access to specific documentation on an OEM install. Could someone please tell me what this directory is, or even better, provide the link to wherever I might have heard this if you know where? Thanks.
