Slow wifi onRazPi 4 (using Buster)
by business_kid from LinuxQuestions.org on (#56A0E)
I have a RazPi 4 with Debian Buster from the Raspberry Pi OS. The wifi is a Broadcomm BCM43455 inside a Broadcomm BCM 2711 APU. In early evening. I get 15Mbps download vs 35Mbps on an x86_64 pc, and faster again on my Android phone
It's a weird one. Technically, it's a Raspberry Pi OS, with a debian version number, and debian or debian type repos. Raspberry Pi have forums but don't answer questions. This seems to be a common bug. Hence the the try here.
What's also funny is that I have the 32 bit "release" & 64bit "Beta", on identical firmware, but the 64bit is 33% faster:eek:
