Firefox doesn't respect window manager size setting (Arch fresh install)

Hello, recently I decided to migrate from Manjaro KDE to Arch for those juicy linux guru points (jk). I managed to install successfully the OS and now I'm restoring my data. I'm using Awesome Window Manager.
So at the beginning after a fresh firefox install it behaved just fine. The problem came when I restored my old profile, after that firefox always starts maximized and it doesn't respect the Awesome tiling settings at all, it is always in maximize window.
I couldn't found any solution after hours of searching in the internet, the only reason I can think of is that before in Manjaro KDE I used a Kwin configuration for the firefox window so it always starts maximized (I actually configured it to force that setting), but the fact is I don't have Kwin installed right now in Arch.
Maybe for some reason the Kwin configuration modified some files inside the profile directory? What could be the reason for this behavior?
PD: Just in case I didn't touched the Awesome config file yet.
PD2: Firefox is the only program that have this issue.
