Restaurants everywhere are changing their business models to stay afloat in the pandemic - pivoting to things like offering takeout, selling meal kits and groceries, and creating makeshift patios. At a time when restaurants continue to make a fraction of what they used to and some even face permanent closure, Chef Carl Heinrich made a significant change and got rid of tipping last weekend at his downtown Toronto restaurant Richmond Station.
