New to EFI - Not Booting New Debian Install
by kn4thx from LinuxQuestions.org on (#56HYX)
I was finally able to get my Debian media detected and installed it on my new Thinkpad T14 coming from an x230 with Debian/Win 10.
I am trying to set up the same dual boot system but after installing Debian 10, it automatically breezes through the Grub installation very quickly. It does say it installs grub-efi so it is detecting that. Unfortunately, while it seems the install took place just fine, I cannot access Debian, only Win 10.
I checked the BIOS and there is no Debian entry as some have suggested. My x230 used grub and assumed it would be the same but as the EFI system is newer to me I am having a hard time. Any help would be appreciated.
