After I have Ubuntu 20.04

This is my first post from my new installation, on a separate partition on my Intel-NUC i7, all works fine, BUT:
1) I installed Cinnamon GUI front, it seems it has blocked some of the items I had during my trials with GNOM UI.
2) I had icons on the bottom bar, and made a mistake and removed them, now - I can't add them back, but I can only add desktop shortcuts.
3) I made several attempts to install Wine - all failed.
4) In this UI, I can no lonnger find the USER folder ???
I know, I post here many questions, hope that I can get some answers, at least on some...
