Can Timeshift be used to backup a linux non-system partition?

My data is not in the $Home folder. It's on /media/linux-drive aka /dev/sdd1. Is there a way to make a separate backup for this using Timeshift.
I explored the Timeshift backups but the ext4 subfolders of /media are not included.
