[SOLVED] Nvidia...450.57 gives Black Screen in init 3

First install of 450.57 seemed to be just fine. I boot into runlevel 4. It was back on July 31 that I had a problem. I opened a terminal to drop to runlevel 3, started the uninstall of the 450.57 driver and was hit with a black screen. The computer was still working, I just couldn't see what was going on. Typed in reboot, and the computer rebooted. I hit the tab key and booted to runlevel three for the kernel upgrade and various other things (running current). I reinstalled the 450.57 driver and all seemed well - until the next kernel upgrade where I uninstall the driver in runlevel 3. Black screen. After this upgrade, I went back to the 440.82 driver, and have not had this problem when uninstalling.

Weird behavior, and I haven't seen where anyone else has had this problem.
