installed app *.gz does not show up on xfce menu.

i downloaded convertall from internet.
untar it .
installed it using
python3 install install.py
the installation was done.
but i can't find the convertall in xfce menu.
however i can run it by typing name and enter.
why ?
it is a gui app, why it does not shows on the menu ?
