Advice for non-destructive install of Windows 10
by drgibbon from LinuxQuestions.org on (#570CA)
I'm considering installing Windows 10 (for games) in a small partition, but I've not installed Windows on bare metal for years, I almost always use a VM but performance is not the best for gaming. My setup is a little odd:
Code:sda1 (encrypted /home)
sda2 (where I'm considering install Windows)
sdb1 (unencrypted /boot)
sdb2 (encrypted /)GRUB is installed to the MBR on sdb. I'm concerned that the install process of Windows 10 is just going to start messing with stuff without asking, but what I really want is it installed on sda2 with no bootloader modification, etc.
Is that even possible?
