Question regarding the "xf86-video-nouveau-blacklist-noarch-1" file.

When I install the "xf86-video-nouveau-blacklist-noarch-1" file on my computer, does that result in the "xorg.conf-vesa" file being ignored when i start or reboot my computer (I use Slackware 14.2 (64-bit) as my operating system)?
