Setting Up: Partitioning
by 3.14 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#573ST)
Hello,
I am not so clear on the partition procedure for preparing the system for L.F.S. and was hoping someone here could help me.
I am running Fedora on a 120 GB hard drive, currently Fedora is occupying the entire drive. I was trying to create a gpt partition to install L.F.S. using fdisk, but I believe that will wipe out the Fedora I am currently using.
How can I create a new partition on the drive to start the new install? Would it be easier if I run Fedora from a USB and then install on the 120 GB hard drive that way?
Thanks for your time,
-DR
