HP Linux Mint 20 keyboard malfunction
by mervl from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5756G)
HP Pavilion (about 5 years old) triple-boot: Windows 10 (Not used), Mint 19.3, fresh-installed Mint 20 when it became available.
Since the Mint 20 install, everything has functioned perfectly until 5-6 days ago, when the keyboard began to malfunction. Now this:
When typing, double-letters need 3 strokes, delete, backspace, and left/right arrow keys will often not move at all or move at 1 second intervals.
I have booted to Mint 19.3 and the keyboard works as always, as it did on Mint 20 until recently. I have made multiple adjustments via keyboard settings but the problem remains.
Is this a driver issue and is there a fix?
