Copying over 1TB files from 1 hdd to another hdd - will a terminal command (for copying and pasting files) transfer the files faster/ significantly faster than "copy/paste" using 'highlight files wanting to copy', right click, copy, then right click paste on the other hdd in the device manager ?

If so, can you state a terminal command for copying and pasting files?
