Create sendmail.mc from sendmail.cf file?

Found a very old thread here from 2010 where someone was looking to create a sendmail.mc file from an existing sendmail.cf and there wasn't a definitive answer. Wanting to know if someone has come up with a way 10 years later. Issue is that previous admin configured a group of servers by simply copying the .cf file but didn't bother to put the .mc along with it, so I have a default .mc file with nothing to go on. Any suggestions appreciated.
