Application for burning DVDs
by Ghost-Order from LinuxQuestions.org on (#57CB7)
Hello, I'm on the search for an application that burn videos on a DVD disk in a way that I can play them on a DVD physical device, I need this application to be crossplatform (have windows 10 and linux versions). This is for my dad, he usually use Nero Video, but I'm trying to get him to get used to open source software little by little so a future transition from windows10 to linux can be easier.
So with Nero Video, all you have to do is drag and drop your videos into the app, then next next next (you can add a DVD menu if you want, but it is not necessary) and that's it. It will burn the DVD disk, and then you can put it in your physical device and play it without issues.
This is, ideally, the way I would like the app to behave. I know that open source applications are not always that straightforward but the most important thing to me is that the app creates all the DVD directory structure by itself (because that's the thing that allows the disk to be played on DVD physical devices right?)
I was trying with DeVeDe and Infrarecorder but none of them work properly on windows 10.
