EFI/GPT install - disk partitions?
by arfon from LinuxQuestions.org on (#57DZM)
I installed FreeNAS on a machine and it partitioned a small EFI partition and a large GPT partition. I'm changing this machine to Slackware Current.
On previous Slackware EFI installs, I don't ever remember making an EFI partition (I do this infrequently).
To run EFI boot on Slackware, do I need the EFI partition and if so, how big should it be?
As for the main partition, (using gdisk) what type of partition should it be?
