Lane restrictions on Wellington Street South for water main break

Part of Wellington Street South is blocked between King Street East and Main Street East after a water main break overnight.

The City of Hamilton said to expect delays through the area until about 4 p.m. Friday as water crews work on repairs.

Hamilton police said they were called to block the road shortly before 2 a.m.

Police have since left the area, but the road remains blocked by barricades while city crews complete the repair work.
