Chicago Bears fans will have to wait until the 2020 season begins to find out who will be under center this year.

Head coach Matt Nagy said Saturday he won't reveal his starting quarterback prior to the Bears' season opener against the Detroit Lions, according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.

Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles have both taken snaps with Chicago's first unit, but Foles is reportedly ahead of Trubisky for the job.

Nagy declined to say which quarterback has played better at camp, Dickerson adds.

The Bears acquired Foles in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March after missing the playoffs last season.

Trubisky posted an 8-7 record in 2019 for Chicago while throwing for 3,138 yards and 17 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. The Bears declined the fifth-year option on the former second overall pick's rookie contract this offseason.

Foles, meanwhile, battled injuries in his first season with the Jaguars and went winless during four starts.
