multi boot ubuntu error screen

I have setup a multi boot which have ubuntu and windows to select.
when select the ubuntu on the menu , it pops the error screen as attached ( you can see a line on the top of the screen ) , I guess it is because it is graphical screen , right ?
I use HDMI cable .
it works to boot to windows , or it also work to boot to ubuntu recovery mode .
I tried to change the resolution , but it only support resolution 3840 x 2160 .
Would advise how to fix the boot error screen ?
