Debian boot error: 'r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed' - Suspected missing firmware

Hi all,

I'm working on installing Debian 10 on my self build desktop machine.

When booting after successful install i get this error message(s):

Code:[ 35.004830] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 35.005379] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 42.778597] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 42.779184] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 45.007097] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 45.007693] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 55.007872] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failed
[ 55.008457] r8822be: halmac_init_hal failedFollowed by a blinking courser and no response to anything.

I believe I'm experiencing firmware issues due to several reasons:

1. I have earlier installed Ubuntu and Mint without any issues.
2. When installing via BIOS (in stead of UEFI), it works, but also creates a host of issues on it's own regarding mounting disks and the GRUB loader not detecting Windows.
3. The error seems to be referring to my Realtek R8822BE Wireless card and i have earlier encountered similar WiFi issues while installing Kali Linux on a laptop.

I tried downloading Debian including non-free firmware but that sadly doesn't change anything.

What steps would you recommend from here?

NOTE: I'm not aiming for working Wifi as he computer is wired, I just need a successful boot.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=srZmQDj4-DY:6dXFH6BRINY:F7zBnMy latest?i=srZmQDj4-DY:6dXFH6BRINY:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=srZmQDj4-DY:6dXFH6BRINY:gIN9vFwsrZmQDj4-DY
