libinput 1.16.1 update scroll breakage

I've updated my Slackware on laptop a couple of days ago and since then I can't use laptop, because any type of scrolling in any window in any gui makes my system unresponsive for a sec and then completely block scrolling in the window where this issue appeared until I switch to any other window and switch back. Seems like not just mouse/touchpad scrolling is broken, even scrolling with hotkeys (tested in emacs with ^v/Mv, libreoffice with page up/down, firefox with page up/down arrow up/down, etc.) is affected. From xorg log:

Code:[ 5064.867] (EE) event16 - ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad: kernel bug: Touch jump detected and discarded.
See https://wayland.freedesktop.org/libinput/doc/1.16.1/touchpad-jumping-cursors.html for details

P.S. I don't get, why some wayland (according to the log) problem affects x11 based Slackware software. It's a bit disappointing situation. I thought base system even in current branch is more... bug resistant.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=fehqvbUDXOE:FR6P1U_CvSA:F7zBnMy latest?i=fehqvbUDXOE:FR6P1U_CvSA:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=fehqvbUDXOE:FR6P1U_CvSA:gIN9vFwfehqvbUDXOE
