Hi; new to LQ - been using Linux 10 yrs

Although I have been using various distros of Linux for a long time, I don't get into the nuts and bolts of things. I do occasionally need help with system updates, software installs, etc. LQ looks like a good place to have my questions answered. Glad to be a member! Thanks.
