Linux Mint 20 is a big let down?
by bscho from LinuxQuestions.org on (#57V4P)
I gave up Linux Mint from the of 19.3 when they took Gimp and VLC out. I stayed with 19.2 and upgraded to 19.3 so I still had Gimp and VLC.
Just tried to upgrade to 20 but was surprised to find I could not upgrade. I therefor had to make space with Gparted be sure where it would actually go. Watched the installation and was pleased to see Gimp was advertised as having been installed.
Imagine my surprise to find it had not been. I am sticking now with Windows 12 Lite and MakuluFlash with 3d and wobbly windows.
Anybody can tell me why they still insist on 2 GB. It took ages to install whereas windows 12 lite installs in 15 minutes.
Perhaps someone can tell me what features will I be missing by not returning to the mint devotees?
