I won't say that this is a must read; what I say is that it is the minimum to read.

You do not strictly need knowledge of any kind to do anything at all. But then you have to live with the fact that things just tend to happen in no matter which way. Fine, if that suits you.
My personal problem (I should have said that I am writing in a state of disillusionment) is that I am confronted with too many people using the Internet. I remember discussions, here on LQ, -some of which I preferred to abstain from-, with people who should now stand up and shout: Nick Sullivan is all wrong and his article is nonsense!
